Membership for 2012 remains at the previous annual rates.
Please note that, although we are now a registered charity, membership subscriptions are not tax deductible. We have been strongly reminded of this by the Charities Commission and the IRD. What is tax deductible is any extra donation which you may choose to give on top of the subs listed below.
Personal membership is $40.This amount has not increased for many years.
An entry for the business directory is $40, on top of your personal
membership, making $80 in total. Please note that this is not a special form of membership. The $80 covers only one personal membership, plus the directory entry. If you wish to include others in your membership, you will need to take out corporate membership.
Corporate membership remains at $200. Rainbow Wellington is eager to continue promoting GLBT and gay-friendly businesses in the Wellington area, and encouraging them to contribute to the community of which they form a part. Corporate membership gives you three individual RW membership cards plus the option to:
- list your business in the monthly emailed Newsletter
- advertise your services/events in the email Newsletter and in postal mailouts
- have a link to your web site on the listing in the widely read Rainbow Wellington Web Business Directory.
- We can also include special articles promoting your services in our regular e-mail news updates for corporate members who wish to avail themselves of this option.

Corporate members are listed first, followed by those personal members who have paid the extra fee to have a directory entry.
To renew or join Rainbow Wellington in 2012 simply fill the relevant form enclosed, or download the form on our website at www.rainbowwellington.org.nz and return it to us now. It's important to do this now to get the full advantage of Rainbow Wellington membership.
In addition we now have the facility to join or renew online at the
website.
Please note that the preferred method of payment is direct credit to our Westpac account 03 0566 0164688 00 .
Cheques to Rainbow Wellington are also fine, as is cash if you are renewing in person at a function.
If your details have not changed and you do not wish to fill in the form when you renew, please at least send us an e-mail. This applies in particular to direct credit payments. Details on the bank statement are not always clear, and we have sometimes missed payments in the past.
